Let’s face it. 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone. Some more than others. We started 2020 with the destructive bushfires which devastated our nation and now the world has been overwhelmed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 has transformed many people’s
lives and forced us and many other businesses to close their doors back in March.


On behalf of all of us at Stay Margaret River, we are excited to announce we have reopened our doors and are welcoming you all back! We closed up in Autumn and now we’ve reopened in winter and we can’t wait to have you!

Winter is renowned for being miserable, lifeless, boring and dull. Come to think of it, winter really does get a bad rap. But have you ever spent a winters day in Margaret River? 1: Cabin Fever Festival- July 17th -26th July 2020

2: CinefestOZ: 26th August 2020- 30 August 2020

3: Willow Grill: Breakfast 7 days a week and dinner Monday – Saturday

Willow Grill, located at Stay Margaret River, serves up breakfast daily and dinner Monday – Saturday evening. Their menu is a Tapas style modern Australian with an Asian influence. 4: Lighthouses & Caves

The most perfect winter day activity! There’s no better way to soak in the cooler weather by heading underground into some of WA’s most remarkable show caves and by climbing up the amazing lighthouses. 
Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse is perfect to start with!

Being a super admired attraction in the region and only 60 stairs to climb up, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking ocean views one you hit the top!

Ngilgi Cave was Western Australia’s first tourist attraction and has kept its flawless reputation with its extensive boardwalks that lead visitors along the striking chambers of this underground fairyland! The kids can stay entertained with the junior explorers’ tunnels. Illuminated signage allow you to educate yourself and your family as you go!

5. Markets

With winter producing more rainfall, the Margaret River region is blessed with delights such as blood oranges, grapefruits, mandarins, truffles and turnips!
